I am going to make this simple, brief and blunt. What does a girl do to get her kids to desire to go to church? When my now teenage daughter was little, she enjoyed it so much. But now she is 16 and she is bored stiff. I really need to find a way to get her to enjoy it and I just don't know what to do. We recently started a new children's church but it's only for ages 0-10. I really think that if we had teen church they teenagers there would probably love it. So it you have any great ideas please, Holla at ya girl!!Until then I'll be waiting patiently.....well, at least as patient as I can that is.

ReplyDeleteYou have asked a question that depends specifically on the young person themselves. We have teens that like to come to church and some that are bored. Having youth programs and services tailored to teens does help. Our ministry has teens a class. We also have youth service every 4th Sunday, which allows the youth to present their talents. Keep praying and paying attention to your daughter likes and most of all keep bringing her to church. Knowing her purpose and gifts will help her be excited about coming to church. Everyone wants to feel like they belong. I pray all goes well!
